Residing in The Center of Excellence for Field Biology at the Department of Biology at Austin Peay State University!
Our research lab focuses on understanding the ecological and physiological processes that shape wildlife populations, with a particular emphasis on bat and small mammal conservation. We use a combination of field-based methods, ecological modeling, and advanced statistical analyses to investigate how animals interact with their environments and respond to environmental change. Our work spans topics such as thermoregulation, hibernation ecology, disease dynamics, habitat use, and species interactions across landscapes. We are part of the Center for Excellence for Field Biology at APSU!
